Meet Your AAPI Heritage Month Training Speakers

Lauren Martin

Dr. Lauren Lee Gum Ping Martin (she/her/elle) is a PhD graduate from the University of California with 30+ years of experience in creating and delivering education in multiple countries.

Through her experience with Lowe’s, Starbucks, Kumon, and CultureAlly, she has facilitated hundreds of trainings for small and large organizations in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.

Having grown up in a multi-ethnic family as the daughter of a Chinese mother from San Francisco and a Black/French/Cherokee father from the French Quarter, she is very excited to be the lead facilitator for AAPI Heritage Month.

Gabriela de Leon

Gabriela de Leon (she/her/elle), an MBA graduate of Human Resources Management, brings her years of experience in managing IDEA programs at ScotiaBank and CultureAlly, to this year’s celebration of AAPI.

Gabriela has played a pivotal role in implementing and facilitating leadership training and is proud to be a part of the facilitation team for Asian American Heritage Month!
